PEMS
Personal employee monitoring system
Personal employee monitoring systems, in the Western interpretation — EMS (Employee Monitoring Software) — are software and hardware complexes that allow you to track the activity, efficiency, productivity, location of the employee, as well as compliance with the standards of safety and technological regulations in real time for a set of employees performing any work, or performing tasks in areas that require increased attention. The system provides control over the correctness of the work task, the use of personal protective equipment, personal physiological parameters, the availability of MTR and the necessary tools when carrying out work, as well as other criteria affecting the efficiency and safety of the technological process.

The main monitoring functions are provided by a set of tools that include:
  • Personal wearable devices – trackers – that enable the tracking of a worker's location and mobility using positioning systems (GPS/GLONASS, Wi-Fi, BLE for outdoor work and IPS/RTLS for indoor work).
  • Wearable and stationary sensors that detect the presence of harmful or explosive substances in the air of the work zone, promptly alerting the worker of critical maximum permissible concentrations.
  • Wearable video recorders that provide visualization of the worker's actions and movements.
  • Use of "smart" personal protective equipment that allows for monitoring its intended use.
  • An intelligent surveillance module that utilizes a network of video cameras installed at production facilities, transmitting images to the information processing system, which then generates event notifications, as well as summary information on abnormal and potentially hazardous situations, and violations of occupational health and safety regulations. A personal monitoring base station that relays data to the information processing system, operating in an unlicensed frequency band.
  • An information processing center consisting of servers used to receive and process incoming data using specialized software.
  • An operator workstation that visualizes the monitoring process with windowed mnemonic diagrams displaying a real-time picture of what's happening in the field at the work site.
The SPMR systems can be used at any enterprise where there is a need to monitor personnel performance, as well as to implement control over compliance with safety regulations and requirements and to develop timely decisions to respond to emergency situations in the production process.
